Terms of Service

Last updated: October 15, 2026

The rules for using Channel Stats MCP. They go with our Privacy Policy, which covers what we collect and why.

Accepting these terms

These terms are an agreement between you and Little Planet Labs, LLC ("Little Planet Labs", "we", "us"). By using Channel Stats MCP, you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use it.

Channel Stats MCP uses YouTube API Services. By using Channel Stats MCP, you also agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

If you use Channel Stats MCP on behalf of a company or team, you're agreeing to these terms for that organization too, and you confirm you're allowed to do that.

You need to be at least 13 years old to use Channel Stats MCP. How we handle information is covered in our Privacy Policy.

What Channel Stats MCP is

Channel Stats MCP is a remote MCP server. Once you sign in and connect a YouTube channel, it lets Claude, or another MCP client, call tools that read that channel's data from YouTube on your behalf: channel and video stats, Analytics reports, audience retention, thumbnail impressions and click-through rate, and, if you turn it on, comments.

It's read-only. Channel Stats MCP never uploads, edits or deletes anything on YouTube. To receive the daily reach reports, it does set up a YouTube Reporting API job for each connected channel, and Google keeps that job after you disconnect. Comments access is the one place this can look otherwise. Google only offers a single permission for reading comments, and its consent screen describes that permission as letting an app see, edit and permanently delete your videos, ratings, comments and captions. Channel Stats MCP uses it only to read comments.

Using the tools needs an active license. Channel Stats MCP is in early access, and during early access we grant licenses on request.

Your account

You sign in with your Google account through Sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping access to that Google account secure, and for anything that happens through your Channel Stats MCP account.

Your YouTube channels

Only connect channels you own or are authorized to manage. You're responsible for following the YouTube Terms of Service and YouTube's policies for those channels. You can disconnect a channel from the dashboard, or remove Channel Stats MCP's access on the Google Account permissions page, at any time.

Your MCP client

You choose which MCP clients to connect, such as Claude by Anthropic. They're separate products with their own terms and privacy policies. Once a tool returns data to a client, what that client does with it, including what it stores or shows to others, is between you and its provider. You can disconnect a client any time from the dashboard's Connections page.

Acceptable use

Use Channel Stats MCP for what it's for. Don't:

  • Attack, probe, or disrupt Channel Stats MCP or the systems behind it, or try to get into parts of it you weren't given access to
  • Get around rate limits or other restrictions
  • Connect a channel you're not authorized to manage, or share access to your account with someone who shouldn't have it
  • Use Channel Stats MCP in a way that breaks the YouTube Terms of Service or YouTube's policies
  • Use Channel Stats MCP to break the law or to harm anyone, including us, YouTube and Google
  • Suggest that Channel Stats MCP is made, endorsed or sponsored by YouTube or Google

Third-party services

Channel Stats MCP depends on services we don't control. Google provides Sign in with Google and the YouTube APIs the tools read from. Their availability, quotas, and terms apply to what you can do here. The YouTube API quota is shared by everyone who uses Channel Stats MCP, so a tool can fail when it runs out for the day.

No affiliation with YouTube or Google

YouTube and Google are trademarks of Google LLC. Channel Stats MCP isn't affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google. We use those names only to describe what Channel Stats MCP connects to.

Availability and changes

We run Channel Stats MCP on a best-effort basis. It may be slow or unavailable at times, and we don't promise any level of uptime. We can change, pause, or shut down any part of it, including specific tools, at any time.

No warranties

Channel Stats MCP is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that the data a tool call returns will be accurate, complete, or on time. YouTube's own numbers can lag by several days and change after the fact.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Little Planet Labs isn't liable for any damages arising from or related to Channel Stats MCP or these terms, whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive, including lost profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, even if we were told they were possible.

Some places don't allow some of these exclusions or limits, so they may not all apply to you.

Termination

You can stop using Channel Stats MCP, disconnect any channel or client, and delete your account any time from the dashboard. We can also suspend or end your access if you break these terms. When an account is deleted, we delete its data as the Privacy Policy describes.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we'll post the new version here and change the "Last updated" date at the top. If you keep using Channel Stats MCP after that, you're agreeing to the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Any dispute related to these terms or Channel Stats MCP will be handled in the state courts located in Williamson County, Texas, or the federal courts for the Western District of Texas, and you and we agree to their jurisdiction.

The rest

If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a part of these terms, that doesn't mean we've given up the right to. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Channel Stats MCP.
