Remote MCP server
Ask Claude about your YouTube channel
Channel Stats MCP lets Claude read the stats for YouTube channels you own or manage. It reads from YouTube's own APIs with access you grant through Google, and it never changes anything on your channel.
By continuing, you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.
What Claude can read
- Lifetime views, subscribers and public video count, plus totals for any date range: views, watch time, average view duration, likes, shares, and subscribers gained and lost.
- Your uploads, newest first, with each video's current views, likes and comments.
- Analytics reports by traffic source, country, device, age and gender, or Shorts versus long-form videos.
- Audience retention for a single video, at 100 points along its length.
- Comments on your videos, for channels where you turn on comments access.
- Thumbnail impressions and click-through rate per video per day, from YouTube's daily reach reports.
How it works
- Step 1
Sign in with Google
Sign-in only asks Google for your name, email address and profile picture.
- Step 2
Connect a channel
Give Channel Stats MCP read-only access to a YouTube channel on Google's consent screen. Comments access is a separate, optional step for each channel.
- Step 3
Connect Claude
Add the server's URL to Claude, or any other MCP client. During early access, tools need an active license.

Read-only, and you can take it back
The Google token that lets us read your channel is encrypted at rest. Stats, video details and comments go straight to the MCP client that asked for them, and we don't keep a copy. The one exception is thumbnail impressions and click-through rate: YouTube only offers those as a daily report, so we download it and keep it for up to 36 months. Disconnect a channel, disconnect Claude, or delete your account any time from the dashboard. The privacy policy has the details.
